   Oh, Mangadex got too popular for it's own good. It's been hit with a DMCA. Chapters have been vanishing left and right. A good example is Frieren, where everything has been nuked. If you think you hate localizers and their companies enough, you don't.

     @WaifuPoaster88 @SuperSnekFriend @Iffine honestly this sounds dumb but it's probably a good thing. It'll hamper the normies ability to read manga which will damage the overall mind share. Imo though I wonder if japan will notice that less people are talking about their IP and therefore it will affect the sales of the product. We'll probably just jolly roger again.
     You know I was looking into how to setup a xdcc server for irc. It might be interesting to set one up to distribute some manga.

     MangaDex went downhill shortly before the hack and breech. The admins tried to hard to be "official", including all the glorious trannylator/localizer copyright bs that official-hood comes with, and they going reap the sowing.
