     Netflix 2010: by offering reasonably priced no-nonsense ad free streaming, we’ve solved BitTorrent problems, radically reduced piracy, and made a stable revenue stream for writers, actors etc.

     Netflix 2026: pay for no generative AI adverts

     Netflix 2029: 90% of our shows are generative AI slop
