I just automatically assume that anybody who has a kneejerk reaction to cars having auto-stop features is just a fuckwit who would decide he hates oxygen if he figured out "liberals" liked it

Maybe Chevy is just doing it better but I've literally never had any of these problems in any of my Chevy vehicles.Even the AC bit, mine just won't do it if the thermostat is calling for cool, and it will kick the engine back on at a longer stop if cool is needed. I'm approaching 100k on a factory starter and a battery that's at least 3 years old...

@7666 @r000t It also likes to kill batteries. There was some talk in the Europoor land about making it always on without an option to turn it off, but that never went anywhere. Instead they made in on by default. -

@r000t i hate it. knocks out the AC, causes lag on initial acceleration, swings the voltage on all your shit (no alternator in play), way more wear on the starter
