anyone here on the TL have experience being inside of an allison transmission? i think the tcc solenoid went out and just wanna know if there are any pitfalls i need to be aware of before dropping the pan and figuring it out.

i used to be able to take my truck to a mechanic anytime i was in deep with it but being a wanna be cowboy homesteader pays way less than what i used to make. that is it doesnt pay until the ranch is right and it aint right yet. i know there is you tube but those dont always warn you of the uncommon mistakes. thanks in advance.
