The concerning thing I find is that the elected leaders don't care what their constituents think, and actively campaign against their wishes. We can't elect representatives who represent us. So there aren't "enough" constituents to do anything but give the news fuel to make us think everyone hates porn, when almost no one hates porn. They're raising an issue that no one had a problem with, that no one wanted anything to be done about, in order to throw us in chains.
We need to organize against these assholes, and form societies again that aren't dictated to us by billionaires and their rentier business people. If we had strong communities, all of us, then the legislator who proposed that would be hanging from the nearest tree. Not because porn is so incredible, but because he's trying (and succeeding) at doing things we don't agree with, in order to hurt our chances at a decent life. Anyone succeeding at that must be stopped.

@fixatedpersonsunit The concerning thing is that there are enough constituents who think launching a war on "porn" 1. isn't an infringement of free speech, 2. is realistic. 3. Think someone's going to pay for it... worse, think it's a priority over making sure disabled people get, like, wheelchair repair, or kids getting throat cultures.
We can chuckle all we want, but people have their heads this far up their asses. Apparently they need pictures to see what that looks like.

'[Interstate Obscenity Definition Act] would explode this legal category, expanding it to encompass virtually all visual representations of sex.'
One worth watching. US govt. could go after everything with a nipple - porn, TV, films, games, mods.
