@cowanon @BasedLunatic Go to the gym. Get in shape. Smile at girls. Eventually they smile back. Talk to the gym bros. Make friends. Feel good about yourself for a change. It's not easy at first. Force yourself. It's worth it.

I wish loneliness didn't cause literal brain damage, though.

@cowanon living a solitary life has equal benefits to being social. Maybe better depending on people you spend time with.

Here just walking up and talking to a complete stranger is called "cold approaching" and that is considered rude and creepy UNLESS you're handsome and charismatic. Usually. I'm in the midwest and people can be friendly if there's some opening like a cash register already interacting with you. I'm guessing more socially inclined people have it easier, whereas if someone were to just start talking to me out of the blue my firs thought would be "what the fuck does this person want from me?"

@cowanon @BasedLunatic Charisma is a learned trait.

@cowanon @urbancamper_55 from my experience Northern European and I imagine Anglo Saxon countries are more difficult to find some friends from personal experience. Here in Spain when you go for coffee or beer someone will just start talking to you. And eventually you just chat with everyone there after a while. Also people working behind desk or delivering food to you will just chat with you unsolicited

Oh it's this "one size fits all" unsolicited nonsense again.
