@mcourcel @SpaceLifeForm Some UPS's have ports for surge-protection only and those still work even with a totally dead battery.
You can get yourself a nice large VRLA battery (often gratis used) and mod the UPS to work with it for that extended runtime (only recommended when there's a built-in or added fan and you'll only hit 50% load).
You can also use used 12V car batteries, too bad how to adjust UPS's to limit the voltage and not overcharge those and kill them in months is always undocumented. -

@SpaceLifeForm I hate UPS. Oh sorry, the other UPS. This UPS is useful, when the batttery works. You can replace them.
