Our Zoomer children: We want to cook for mothers day so none of you have to! ♥
The rest of the family: Yes this sounds good.

Yet slowly over the course of the next hour all of us found a reason to intrude.

First the boomers, because they either micromanage everything or refuse to help in any way. Literally one zoomer asked how to work the oven because it was different from her's and that translated into boomer speak as "I don't know what I am doing at all please take over before I burn down the house"

Then the millennials to protect the zoomers.

Then gen x out of peer pressure from the millennials the boomers to pick a side

Then finally my silent generation grandmother to break it up.

Mothers day was good otherwise. I hope all of you have had a good one.
