     But now the eldest kid wants to try doing their farmers market vending by bike, but it's a bit much to get on the rack. (They do awesome silversmithing and lapidary work as Idle Talons; check 'em out! Https://www.idletalons.com), so I thought I would try to work it out.

     I'm pretty happy with how the hitch receiver worked out, and I just made two so we can easily use the trailer with either bike without having to mess around with swapping it around. 😎

     Trailer got it's first use for intended purpose today, letting L vend at Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters market by bike 🎉🚲🙂 Amusingly, they told me that when they stopped at the local co-op on the way home, someone who worked on the design of their bicycle model stopped to chat about the trailer setup!

     I put a lot of miles on it when the kids were little, to the point that the floor fabric wore through. I shoved a piece of plywood in to keep their feet off of the pavement and we kept using it until they got too big for me to haul anymore. I stripped off the fabric and used it occasionally to haul awkward things, but once we got the cargo bikes I could almost always just strap shit to them. And the rear axle mount point wouldn't work with the through axle or running board.
