   @annesettanni a few years ago I got called in to help the admitting service tuck in evacuees from another hospital that was threatened by fire. The process was not awesome.

   When COVID really hit hard in 2020, we were kept alive by a secret stash of expired N-95s hidden away in the back of central supply in case of bioterror. Most hospitals would have tossed them years before because if the state found them, it would be a mess. Hospitals are woefully unprepared.
