Even if we could rewrite #Fedilab for being supported on Android and iOS devices, we will keep actively maintaining the dedicated Android version.
A such rewrite would have bad side effects. We might not be able to go so deeper in features and older devices won't be able to run the app.

Yes, because we use React-Native that allows a single code to work for iOS and Android devices.
This works well while you're not going deeper in device abilities.
But Fedilab would need a dedicated iOS dev for supporting all its features. A common code would limit Android users that are used to a full customisation of the app. -

Asking as someone who has never done mobile development: why is that? Would you have to use some framework that could not map all of Android's features?
