   PSA: *.irclog.whitequark.org now lives at https://catirclogs.org! it has a new (dedicated) server in Germany and runs on NixOS, instead of sharing an aging Ansible configuration with a server in Singapore that has all my personal infrastructure

   the migration went smoothly, there shouldn't be any issues, and all of the old URLs will continue to work indefinitely

     catirclogs.org is almost 15 years old at this point, which is about 15 times more than the half-life of a typical VC-backed service. here's to 15 years more of IRC logs (and one would hope in 2040 we have something better than IRC that everyone collectively uses. one would hope)

     @whitequark how do you pick which channels to record? I'm looking for oftc#xfs which doesn't seem to be there. Didn't know about this archive 🙂
