   It will be a worthless loss, but at the same time, it will have great importance, as it will give you the opportunity to decide whether you want to keep buying handcuffed hardware (cringe) or buy unhandcuffed hardware (based).

     It is handcuffed, and it'll be a loss. On the other hand if it truly is busted then it's a good chance to get an upgrade in freedom. I'll see if I have a spare moment this weekend and reseat the CPU and see if DIMMs stop fucking around.
