     @whiteman_ @wishgranter14 Vietnam was a no-win situation. Even if we won, a US-installed regime may have collapsed into violence after we inevitably left.

     @whiteman_ the tet offensive really instigated a lot of negative press, but we were going to win before we pulled out. people always tell me that's a cope, but when you look at the actual military actions on the ground (which I have since forgotten since it's been awhile since reading about it) you'd see that it's only because of hippie cowards that we lost. Should we have even been involved in another countries war? That's an entirely different question.
