   @domi Well AFAIK you need browser stuff due to OAuth in things like GMail.
   And well it is a Mozilla software (just bit awkward given that Firefox engine isn't embeddable).

     @takao @domi Yeah sadly Mozilla has pretty much always been making their user interface designs close to the leading implementation.
     Kind of makes sense for user adoption but it also means eventually copying the annoying trends.

     @lanodan @domi i strongly dislike how they're making it outlook-like. Also it's a bloody IRC and XMPP client now (but to their credit, they support OTR for both protocols and it interops with irssi's implementation well)
