   It's a bright Monday morning, and we've raised $170, which caters for rehearsals and can feed cast and crew for two days. I'm making #TheNightDancer short film, a revenge fantasy with dance as a magical weapon set in Luo (East African) mythology, and I need your support!      The shooting date for #TheNightDancer draws near, and as I played in #krita for inspiration on how to film the night scenes during day time, I ended up with this poster.      Yay! We are now at $600 and that covers the fixed overhead costs (payments that I need to have cash on hand before filming starts). So I can take a breathe and plan for actual shooting dates of #TheNightDancer Next target is to collect the remaining $400 to pay actors, so I'm counting on your continued generosity to help me make this short film!      About midway through this campaign I've got $479, almost half of what I need to cover the basic costs of making #TheNightDancer Yay!! Next target is to reach $600 which will cater for set constructions, costumes, and props.      On Sunday two more very generous donations pushed the total to $348, so that covers the basic overheads. Next target is to raise enough for set constructions. We will have to build graves and a graveyard as we can't shoot in real ones, obviously, and I'm scratching my head hard wondering how we shall pull it off.      I woke up to an email of a 60-dollar donation and I donno how to thank such generosity so I just cry in happiness. We now at $253. It covers rehearsals, meals during shoot, and half the transport costs. With your help I can make #TheNightDancer a popular characters in Ugandan mythology. I can only give you my artworks as a thank you for your donations though a small voice says it's not enough!

     We have now got donations at $193, which round about covers rehearsal costs and meals for three days during the shoot, and since I plan to shoot this in about three days I could as well say we have covered that! Yay!

     Yesterday, we had our first rehearsal and it left me even more excited about #TheNightDancer for it's going to be very challenging to pull off some of the effects, like the corpse dancing out of the grave, but with your help I'll pull it off! Look at this short video from that experience.

     Today we start rehearsals. Yay! But we woke up to heavy rains in Kampala so the two actors got delayed.
