Personally, I think it's against the spirit of free software to take that control away from the user. -

Fediblock is wildly abused by bad actors or otherwise "misused" by people recommending blocks of entire instances over the bad behavior of a couple individual users. This is horrible advice.

At best they fill the federated timeline with slurs and at worst they go around harassing people on other instances. Save yourself and your users some trouble and block early -
