   @lightweight Their intentions are suspect as they call it an "open source" license when it is a free software one, don't name the GNU and do not state whether it's -only or -or-later.
   
   They realized that when that sort of software goes fully proprietary, people stop using it or start maintaining a free fork.

     @lucasmz yes - that's true - they're some proprietary binary blobs for drivers (like GSM and a few other specialised things, like VoWifi)... so there's no time for complacency. We need to keep up the pressure.
