Isn't Linux the OS? Can't you just use it?
先ほども申し上げましたように、ー般的にはOSの名前として使われのですが、厳密にはOSのkernelの名前なんです
As mentioned earlier, it is generally used as the name of the OS, but strictly speaking it is the name of the OS kernel.
Something is missing here - I don't see any mention of GNU and the the panels seem to only make sense here read left to right.
It is generally quite confusing to write "OS kernel" without also explaining that a kernel is only a small part of an OS and the rest of the OS is just as or more important and also to provide an analogy like you have GNU/Car with GNU as the frame and Xorg windows etc and with Linux as the transmission (with multiple transmissions available).
Now I wonder how to explain as above in 日本語.
