   @chema The streets in my neighborhood are not safe. I tell people it's the cars because everyone thinks it's the drugs & homelessness.

     I biked past Howard and 7th today and saw a platoon of police standing around after a driver killed an elderly woman and her dog. It looked like the driver was in one of the oversized SOMA West pickup trucks. SOMA West is a Community Benefit District created by the area's property owners.
     
     So tragic and completely unnecessary. A neighborhood this dense, this small, and already crisscrossed by dangerous roads does not need even more vehicles of that size.
