    @nihilvt Billionaires are probably directly responsible for about 25% of problems in the world and indirectly anywhere from another 25 to 40%. They actively want bad things to happen so they can maximize their profits. They can cause catastrophes to happen so they can short the market and buy the bottom. This is what they do.

      @NathanielHigger1488 @nihilvt Even if they're not manipulating the market like that, the fact that they can toss around so much capital and drop 15 million on VC funding like it's NOTHING is disruptive to the stated ideals of "capitalism" with losers dropping off to make room for new innovation and people.

      It was hyperbole of what socialists think, blaming billionaires for everything. They just simply hate people with more money than them.

      @nihilvt @j Not entirely. But (((billionaires))) all have aspd and are either actively malicious or don't give a shit. If we didn't have them, things would be better, but there would still be suffering, just not as much because nobody is maliciously causing problems for profits.
