   @strypey i dunno how much people can really be corrected though.
   
   i've been wondering lately if things like the hermetic cult's secrecy had more to do with the public are effectively dumbasses and scientific pursuits regularly put you in a position of disagreeing with the majority.

     #ShowerThoughts You don't need to teach or encourage people to hate the Other. Just teach them to fear the Other, deeply, uncritically, and self-protective instincts will do the rest. Especially if you also teach people to view every point of difference as Othering and scary.
