I gouged the shit out of my knuckle today cutting the splash guard off of the bottom of my car because an ice chunk tore the shit out of it in like feb.
Why do they literally cover the entire bottom of cars in plastic now? It's so stupid

It was working fine until some lube tech tard broke it last fall when I got an oil change and then a chunk of ice killed it this winter.
So dumb. I was driving around with it just grinding all over the place and people staring at me.

Eh, my cars close to the ground, I don't need to cover myself in oil. Plus if i bring it to the dealship they keep records and the resale value stays higher.

@Tony @EllisDee My garage has a coating/sealant that makes it easy to clean. Jack it up, wear gloves, have lots paper towels and a big oil catch pan.
I drive a lot and just can't bring myself to spend 80+ bucks or whatever dealers charge every two months when I can do it for 25 at home.
