There are two types of countries when it comes to accountability of top politicians -- Brazil https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/apr/25/brazil-fernando-collor-just arrested a former head of state and France are known to not shy away from prosecuting former top politicians. On the other end of the spectrum, Germany, the UK and the US consistently fail to prosecute top politicians and corruption at the top. That's at least my rough view. Maybe there is a scientifically done survey?
