   I don't celebrate the fediverse being "algorithm-free".
   
   The twitter algorithms suck because they serve the platform, not the users.
   
   The fediverse isn't even "algorithm-free" in the first place, but I'm not intrinsically opposed to there being more/different discovery/curation algorithms - as long as users are the ones in control.
   
   That said, I do quite like the way things are currently.
