Actually no, Reply Guys are not cultured or cool, but we are starting to see more frustration with them here on Mastodon lately.

Like HOAs, Reply Guy comments are lazy, don't add to the conversation, and just make everyone feel bad.

Ask yourself, is this comment helpful or hurtful? Does it advance the discussion? Are you maybe trying to build yourself up by tearing someone else down? Could your thought be phrased in a more constructive way?
