   @FrenzyBiscuit pretty much just Threads now. Too many assholes here looking to criticize every single post. Especially my AI related posts.

   I've been having lots of fun with AI lately and they either get no engagement or just straight hate here.

   The other day I posted a dumb joke about not getting high on drugs and getting high on weed instead and had a few "well actually" peeps in my comments in less than 10 minutes.

   I deleted that post.

   I only really post memes here now. I'm like a dumb meme monkey and if I'm not posting memes, I get hate or no interaction.🤷♂️

   I don't use BlueSky because they're falsely advertising decentralization.

     Just curious is there a core group of people here that you share your interest in AI with?

     The reason for asking is that this account maintains a thing called Follow Packs, which are groups of accounts that people can follow into a List by downloading a file and importing it. Check out:

     Sorry you're finding the reply guy culture here frustrating. This is certainly a frequent criticism of Mastodon. Some people just insta-block folks when they don't appreciate their comments, and find that things clear up after a while. In any case, hope you find a way to build a more supportive community here.

     @mastodonmigration will do! Thanks! Maybe when I have time I'll get accounts for AI stuff and maybe also a Pro Wrestling one as well, because there's a lot of pro wrestling fans these days and not much discourse surrounding it on Fedi.

     No problem. Just if you are interested. Recently worked with some folks to create AV, Urbanism, Humor, and even a Mostly Dogs list. There are now over a dozen lists scanning lots of subjects. Check out the directory.

     1. Getting the list from you. It can either be a simple reply comment(s) or DM.

     2. Then this account publishes a notice @ mentioning each account and giving them the opportunity to opt out.

     3. The notice also solicites additional recommendations for the pack.

     4. Then it's published, and everyone is noticed again

     I tend to like AI and vices like weed.

     @BeAware @FrenzyBiscuit Odd, I have never really seen much of the insta-hate replying on here - Although I may well have just blocked them and forgotten it instantly.

     I mean I completely believe it is true, I just don't know how I have avoided it so far - Maybe because nobody reads most of my posts.

     Does Mastodon have plugins? Looks like a category-based troll blocker plugin would be useful to some - For years, we had a trusted flagger program on #OkCupid that let people vote on the neer'dowells; crowdsourced pre-moderation is a wonderful thing when it works :D
