The Liberal position across the world, in the USA, Germany, Canada, etc, is to become morally indistinguishable from fascists (supporting genocide, increasing police funding, disregarding the environment, enacting or enforcing racist laws, etc) and then acting all surprised Pikachu when they loose elections to the right from which they are indistinguishable.
