Avoiding being "terrible" towards the "terrible" people only serves those "terrible" people. Neutrality under the status quo only serves the oppressor. The hungry can't go on a hunger strike. This sentiment of not fighting back, or inaction towards the systemic violence only serves one's selfishness and moral superiority; the "I don't wanna seem terrible" at the expense of the oppressed and extraploited masses. Reality is that the EU is a puppet of the US, and will continue to roll out fascism once the rates of profits start to fall.
