Overall home #selfhosting has its risks but it is increasingly satisfying.. I use it for all my personal non-essential stuff, not for work.

Then the cloud came and everything became more abstract. Proxmox gives you the best of both world. You can spawn your little VMs but you control was you oversell to yourself.
