Well. I did a thing and got recognition for it. OH has been a keen photographer for years, while I was content enough to just watch for the most part. Last year he gave me his small Canon 7X sure shot which I took some photos with. Then last September I joined a small local camera club. I submitted a couple of my flower images for NIPA [Northern Ireland Photographic Association] competition rounds, and was scored for them. NIPA also run a Novice competition in which I entered the max of four images in the digital section. Went to the judging last night - saw my images pass on the screen with no comment from the judges. Then they called out the awards and got this. Who would ever think the judges in Northern Ireland would be eulogising over the hairy bits? 😂 because they was what they really liked about this image.
