When there appears to be a growing global boycott of USA goods and services, of course, some corporation is going to claim to be a business in a "random" country.

It makes for good marketing.

But they cannot escape the legality. If you read the license agreement, terms of services, user agreement, acceptable user policy, their contact us page, and even their career (job) postings, you may soon find they're American after all.
