     @evan I remember Hakeem Jeffries saying something similar, about Muhammad Ali conserving his energy or choosing his fights, and that Dems should do the same. I think that was just the other week, but can't find it now.

     I did find this: Al Sharpton described Dem behavior as being a rope-a-dope, before Carville suggested it as actual strategy.

     Still no clarity on whether it's an intentional strategy. Either way, it's not a good look. Looks more like accelerationism and "herd immunity" strategy.
