     @Blouie @rher Donkey Konga and Barrel Blast were done by Japanese teams, they just used the Rare designs.

     @RehnyNytes256 @rher @Blouie Japan is at least 10 years behind the west so I will expect a lot of awful designs like this to keep popping up for the next 5 years at least. Nintendo is being run by money men who will just do whatever they think will bring in the widest population, even if that's not true at all

     @Arkana @rher And Jungle Beat, Donkey Konga, the peg ones and that gameboy one were all Nintendo or Paon but I was mostly taking about the mainline Country games

     @Arkana @rher Every other Donkey Kong game for the last like 30 years was made by a western studio and none of the designs were that creepy

     @Arkana@poa.st @rher@mugicha.club @Blouie@poa.st but their change DID make the end result unpleasant for me. Their very philosophy is flawed because their changes remove freedom of choice from everyone while placating a small percentage.
