@veer66 check out LXQT, or maybe LXDE. They are very lightweight, I'm using them for remote desktop via xrdp.

@bonkers My short-term goal is to enable WiFi on Debian, which I will resume maybe on next next next weekend. After that, I probably trying other DEs besides GNOME and KDE plasma.

@veer66 I read somewhere that BPI F3 sucks in desktop performance, and it seems to have the same chip. But if should be pretty good at server or IP routing tasks
