@GNUxeava They can call screensavers and turn off the screen after a set amount of time, which means the screen won't burn in.
Non-garbage OLED panels don't have any issues with burn-in unless a static image is shown for years.
The kernel, Linux doesn't know or care if you have an OLED display - it just contains part of the display driver that shows the image.
