     Mostly because I’m not surprised. By anything. I’m just not. It feels like I saw the spoilers 30 years ago and now I have to live through some version of all of that

     @skinnylatte have you read Parable of the Sower by Butler?

     It’s very American, more American than almost any work of fiction ever. But it’s a lot of what prepared me for this.
