   I returned the CyberPower UPS that was making the annoying coil whine back to Costco. I still need a UPS for my office and not sure what to get. There doesn't seem to be many options in the consumer grade tier.

     Why didn't you just exchange it?
     Like I said, I have many of those, and they work well. You may have just got a bad unit.

     Fair enough. But, just so you know: I got mine from BJ's, because they have it in store.

     @badnetmask because the local Costco stores don't carry them and I have to order another one online and have it shipped
