@reb @ajroach42 Can highly recommend FastMail.
And you can download all your mail from Gmail and, if you import it into e.g., Apple Mail, etc., you should be able to search it, etc. At least it’s a one-time faff.

@ajroach42 same. The trouble is though I've been using the same gmail address for my entire adult life, unpicking all of that feels like an impossible task.
