    @ueeu
    I don’t agree.
Replacing an american product made in Europe by a European product made in Europe means jobs in Europe in both cases, but no more profit for the américain companies.
But I would recommend to focus on companies that funded Trump’s campaign.
For instance, sometimes I read people saying they stoped Netflix. But Netflix funded Kamala Harris’ campaign, not Trump.

Boycott American products or products made in the USA?

Élodie Lapierre argues in this article that we should not boycott USA products made in France, only imported ones, because they employ more than 180,000 people in France. (even more in Europe)

According to her, American products and services keep France working:

      in the food industry:

      - McDonald's employs more than 78,000 people directly and 28,000 farmers who supply nearly 1,600 restaurants across FR
      - Burger King has more than 25,000 employees
      - KFC employs 15,000 people
      - Coca-Cola has five production plants and 2,500 employees.
      - PepsiCo France, owner of brands such as Alvalle, Tropicana, Lipton Ice Tea, 7 Up, Pepsi, Bénénuts, Quaker, Lay's and Doritos, has four factories and 700 employees
      - The Kraft Heinz group (Capri-Sun, Weight Watchers, Heinz) employs more than 200 people

      In tech,
      - Amazon: 22,000 employees
      - IBM: more than 3,100 employees
      - Microsoft: 2,100
      - Dell Technologies: 1,900
      - Google: 1,300
      - META: nearly 250 people

In hygiene and personal care products:
      - Procter & Gamble: more than 2,000 employees and 3 sites.
      - Johnson & Johnson: 1,600 employees, 3 production sites
      - Henkel: 900 employees, 2 factories (Le Chat, Schwarzkopf, Maison Verte, Loctite etc.)

      Do you agree? 🤔
