     #OblivionRemastered thoughts so far:

     - OMG
     - I almost cried
     - They cooked

     The DLC is all there. It looks like they remade every asset in the game. They also revoiced the NPCs, so it's no longer the same 6 voice actors. NPCs look incredible now. All the animations are redone too.

     You can see across whole of Cyrodiil if you get high enough. There's no level of detail pop in at all, either. Leaves fall from trees and blow along the ground, fish fill rivers, stealth archer works great. :catjam:

     I still cannot believe how good #OblivionRemastered is.

     The further I get in it's like, oh, there's now lots of voice actors and each race sounds different and every game system I come across is reworked etc. They literally rebuilt the whole thing, it's mindblowing so far.

     I've taken the rest of the week off work, LFG.

     @GossiTheDog I have very conflicting views about this. These screenshots are jaw dropping... I definitely feel like playing it. But the fact it seems to be incredibly well done and not just a cheap cash grab makes me ask myself even harder why not make a new original TES instead?

     1) No fast travel
     2) No main quest

     Trying to live off the land from hunting, cave diving, thievery and murder until I can afford a house.

     @tanepiper oh it is. I suspect they probably had a higher budget on the remaster than the original game - it’s on par with what I’d expect TES 6 to look like and feel like.

     @GossiTheDog reading the reviews I might have to get this. Haven't bought any games in a while, still holding off on Civ VII, but reading the reviews this looks like a genuinely good remaster
