Rest in Peace Pope Francis. It is considered a blessing to die during Easter or Bright Week, and, despite my frustrations with the things he said and his constant media quotemine material, I do hope that God has mercy on his soul. Perhaps there was some reason why such a man was chosen to lead the church when he did. - soberano likes this.

@BowsacNoodle Vatican 2 was the reason he was allowed to rule. 500+ years to get a Jesuit in charge -

@LordOfTheKangs I'm talking spiritually not earthly. The leity, seminarians, and young priests are substantially more traditionalist now than under John Paul II or Benedict. It is possible that Pope Francis' papacy created a vanguard against something worse. Given the state of the world, I would not be surprised. I've not been a "fan" of Pope Francis but did respect him and his office as Bishop of Rome. -

@LordOfTheKangs @BowsacNoodle I really hope a Jesuit was voted by the conclave to become the Pope. BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -
