   Hot #Peertube take. No one wants to watch your Twitch VODs on Peertube. It's a waste of money and bandwidth and often drowns out better content on instance pages. It's just video spam and I wish people didn't do it.

     @20000lbs_of_Cheese Yeah but if these videos were actually watched by people instead of resting with zero views then my point would be moot.

     @ChrisWere I watch tons of twitch vods! I haven't used Peertube much though because I want an easy way to block channels so their videos no longer show up, it sounds like it solve both of our annoyances, maybe

     @Mrfunkedude Yeah I'm just broadly wishing people would be generally mindful, but it's just a gripe of mine.

     There have been a few times when I browse for peertube videos only to see someone from a federated instance has flooded the 'recent videos' with their Twitch VODs. It's a personal opinion for sure, but I think Twitch VODs content slop for the most part (some exceptions may apply).

     @ChrisWere Let me know if I’m wrong, but I think what you’re trying to say, (and what I think other people commenting are missing), is that if you are using someone else’s PeerTube resources that you should be mindful of the content that you upload.

     And I agree wholeheartedly. It’s best practice.

     However, I also think that if the PeerTube instance owner doesn’t care about what kind of space is being taken up on their instance, then it’s no big deal. 🤷

     Still, your point is fair.
