@villares@ciberlandia.pt @suihkulokki@society.oftrolls.com During his first term, Brazilian former president Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1995–2002) was selling off national telecommunications, railway, aerospace, banking, and mining industries. In 1997, he retorted that those labeling his policies as neoliberal were, in Portuguese, “neobobos” (“neo-fools”), but I guess the real fools were those who reelected him in 1998… 🙄 -
