@janvlug @onion they're called "monitors" and they cost twice as much as TVs and tend to justify that with some differences in resolution and refresh rate. They're fairly easy to find and who knows how long that'll last. Eventually you'll have to buy old Thinkpads and make an array out of them to have a large display that doesn't come with shitty software that's incapable of adblock. - Phantasm likes this.

@onion I would like to be able TV-panels that do not have any tv receiver and other "smart" stuff. Basically just an LCD panel, and speakers optionally with webcam and microphone. But not connected to any black box proprietary software.
Once I searched for devices like this but could not really find one.
I just want to connect my own free and opensource Linux system to it. -

Analog TV was much better, no silly user agreements to agree to.
