    @ed @osi A common ground one needs transparency, when will you release the complete, unaltered results of its 2025 Board of Directors elections. By removing candidates and votes after voting concluded, OSI has damaged its credibility. This is a call for transparency as a first step toward repairing OSI's integrity and reputation.

      @edodusi The AGPL and the GNU Manifesto are different things, I don't see how one could be the evolution of the other. I'm not afraid of challenging the GNU Manifesto (I have a track record of doing that :)) I did that recently to see if it is still valid in the era of ChatGPT, read https://opensource.org/blog/open-source-ai-establishing-a-common-ground (TLDR: The principles still hold true today)

        The Open Source community should not write its own definition of an AI system as there are too many dangers with doing that. It's safer to adopt a well established one.
