I feel like the Kilmar Abrego Garcia framing is some kind of weird cognitive error, or there's something I'm missing

Like, weren't basically everybody on those flights deprived of due process? Weren't those planes ordered to turn around and *they didn't*?

It's true the "if it can happen to this one guy it can happen to you" track is enhanced by the president admitting he's about to target citizens

But I feel like "if it can happen to hundreds of people" framing is also good and the same story
