   @lazarukb I had to look it up. 2% increase in crime intensity and crime rate in 2023 according to statscan. Definitely not a bloodbath, but I think it's fair to say that crime is up. #cdnpoli

     @evan @lazarukb Whenever people make claims about crime being up — or down —, the correct response is "Over what time frame?"
