     I would never look to the dude for actual political opinions, but I'd say he scores higher on the actual-fucking-decency scale than a lot of celebs do.

     So I see most of his posts and go "yes, yes, that's very nice, Grampa George," but really I'm kind of happy that he's on here anyway.

     George Takei gives some of the most milquetoast takes ever, but honestly I feel like I do have to appreciate that an old dude—old enough he could be forgiven for not being very adaptable—actually showed up on Fedi when other big Twitter accounts could not be bothered.
