     For all intents and purposes this current "constitutional crisis" appears unresolvable due to the nature of the structures intended by the constitution and all that has come after.

     @WarnerCrocker At this point the constitutional crisis has already proceeded into calamity. (The difference between a crisis and a calamity is that a crisis can be managed while the only thing to do in a calamity is run while you still can.)

     At some point the civilizational crisis will proceed to the calamity stage too.

     @janxdevil I'm not sure a calamity can exist without a civilization to define it as such. Otherwise it's just nature having her way.
